22 May 2014 - FAB Researchers present at the Dieticians of Canada Omega-3 Symposium, Toronto
FAB Research scientists Dr Alex Richardson and Capt Joe Hibbeln will both be presenting some of the latest findings, along with other leading international omega-3 experts, at the ‘DHA / EPA Omega3 for Health Symposium: Update 2014’
The Symposium will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Mississauga Convention Center, Toronto, Ontario, organised by Professor Bruce Holub of the DHA/EPA Omega-3 Institute, and is aimed at helping professionals to distinguish the solid scientific evidence on omega-3 from the many media stories that often distort this.
It will cover recommended intakes of EPA/DHA omega-3 from national and international organizations for various health targets. Agri-food and nutraceutical sources will be explored in order to meet these targets. Controversial topics and marketing advertisements will also be objectively clarified.
