ADHD, and What Else...?

An ongoing series of webinars exploring ADHD and related conditions

Overlaps between ADHD and other developmental, mental and physical conditions are very high. Identifying any co-occurring conditions is therefore important in both research and practice, helping to identify possible contributory factors and to tailor support to the individual.

These conditions are not ‘diseases’ in any conventional medical sense; there are no objective tests and no biological markers. The diagnoses are purely descriptive and are unlikely to give the full picture of what is going on for any individual.

Official guidelines ignore the connection between food and ADHD and related conditions. But research says that diet CAN help to manage symptoms. There is a huge amount of information online on the relevance of food & diet on these conditions, but much of it is contradictory or misleading. This makes it hard to know what to believe or what to do that might help.

This series of webinars 'ADHD and What Else?' will help anyone interested in ADHD to;

  • Understand ADHD - appreciate what ADHD really is, explore co-occurring conditions and understand the rationale behind the NICE treatment guidelines.
  • Learn effective Nutritional Strategies - with practical, tried-and-tested dietary approaches for managing ADHD and related conditions, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ASD, anxiety and depression.
  • Understand the overlaps and differences between common neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Boost focus and Concentration - identify foods and nutrients that can enhance attention and concentration.
  • Get Practical advice backed by scientific evidence.
